Maximising value with Sensei: reflecting on Life Without Barriers’ Multi-year project Management journey

Life Without Barriers (LWB), a leading Australian not-for-profit organisation, has continuously evolved its project and portfolio management capabilities through a longstanding partnership with Sensei. Over the years, LWB transitioned from Jumpstart to Empower PPM, then to Sensei IQ, and most recently to Altus, a flexible and scalable solution built on the Microsoft Power Platform. This evolution has enabled LWB to manage over 757 projects with improved visibility, efficiency, and security while empowering both professional and informal project managers with user-friendly tools and training resources.

The adoption of Altus has provided LWB with a structured yet adaptable framework for project management, ensuring consistency across the organisation. Regular software updates, enhanced security measures, and integration with Microsoft Teams have further streamlined workflows and facilitated collaboration, particularly in a flexible work environment. With dedicated support from Sensei’s Client Care and Delivery teams, LWB has successfully navigated software transitions, leveraging new features to improve efficiency. By fostering a culture of continuous improvement and engagement with Sensei’s PPM solutions, LWB has strengthened its operational effectiveness, ensuring its ability to support Australians in need well into the future.
